The JALUX Group has steadily and successfully established a stable business platform since its founding in 1962, starting off with the Customer Services Business such as insurance, real estate and airport shops, and expanding into the Aviation-Related Business such as aircraft components and the Lifestyle Service Business such as mail-order sales. |
| In 2002, we became a listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and in 2004, integrated our business with JAS Trading Co., Ltd., further expanding our Lifestyle Creation Business such as mail-order sales and airport shops. Through evolution and growth, we have become a uniquely new type of trading company that designs and proposes new lifestyles for the customers. |
| After a transfer of shares in March 2007, the capital structure of JALUX changed to Sojitz owning 30% of all issued JALUX shares and JAL owning 21%. Thus we made a new start as an independent enterprise, which paves the way for us to boost our growth potential. We will tackle the following issues by optimizing the functions and network of the Sojitz Group as well as the JAL Group in order to increase our corporate value. |
| Through the above measures, we aim to develop our aviation-related business and lifestyle creation business, centering on the retail business, and achieve the medium-term objective of an ordinary income of 5 billion yen, and a dividend payout ratio of 30% on a consolidated basis, and pass on returns to shareholders. |

| We would appreciate your warm support for our endeavors. |
